Banana Bread - cooking recipe

2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 c. applesauce
1 c. sugar
3 egg whites
3 ripe bananas, peeled and mashed
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Spray a 9 x 5 x 4-inch loaf pan with nonstick coating.
Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon in mixing bowl.
In another bowl, whisk together applesauce, sugar, egg whites, banana and vanilla.
Add flour mixture all at once and stir to blend.
Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and bake 50 to 60 minutes or until a knife inserted in middle comes out clean.
Cool bread completely before slicing. Yields 16 slices.
