Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. All-Bran (1 box)
    2 c. boiling water
    1 c. shortening, melted
    3 c. sugar
    4 eggs, beaten
    1 qt. buttermilk
    5 c. unsifted flour
    5 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Put 2 cups
    bran
    in large bowl and pour water over and let stand.
    Mix in shortening.
    Mix remaining bran with sugar, eggs and
    buttermilk.
    Sift flour, soda and salt.
    Combine and mix. Put
    cover on and store in refrigerator overnight.
    When ready to use,
    spoon
    into
    muffin pans.
    Bake at 400\u00b0.
    Will keep indefinitely.
