Ingredients

2 c. raw cranberries, cut in half
1 1/3 c. flour
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. soda, dissolved in 1/3 c. hot water
1/2 c. molasses
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Combine cranberries and all dry ingredients.
Add egg to molasses.
Mix into dry ingredients.
Add soda and water.
Pour into greased round tins.
(I use large soup cans.)
Place on rack in roaster.
Add water to bottom of roaster.
Place aluminum foil over top of pudding and steam 1 hour and 20 minutes at 325\u00b0.
