Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. corn meal
    1 c. flour
    1/4 c. sugar
    4 tsp. baking powder (1 Tbsp. + 1 tsp.)
    1 egg
    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients into bowl.
    Add egg, milk and oil.
    Stir with fork until smooth and dry ingredients are moistened.
    DO NOT OVERBEAT.
    Bake in greased 8 inch pan at 425 for 20-25 minutes. Serve with chili or other hot soup.
    Delicious sliced with butter and honey or jelly.
