Green Beans With Sour Cream Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. green beans
    boiling salted water
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 1/2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 1/2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1/2 to 3/4 c. chicken broth
    1 1/2 tsp. vinegar
    1 1/2 tsp. dried dill weed
    dash of salt and black pepper
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1/2 c. sliced water chestnuts
    2 tsp. each minced parsley and slivered pimiento
Preparation
    Tips: Purchase fresh beans that are tender and velvety to the touch, not tough or wilted looking. If you wish, use 2 (10 ounce) packages frozen green beans, cooked to package directions.
