Fudge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. soft butter
    1 1/3 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 1/4 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 c. ice water
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs and vanilla.
    Beat until fluffy, about 5 minutes, at high speed.
    Blend in melted chocolate.
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Add alternately with ice water. Beat well after each addition.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes in 2 (9-inch) round pans, greased.
    Top with Chocolate Satin Frosting.
