Tourtiere Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground pork
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. ground sage
    Dash pepper
    Dash ground nutmeg
    Pastry for 2 crust 9 inch pie
Preparation
    Brown ground pork in skillet; drain off excess fat.
    Stir in water, onion, bread crumbs, salt, sage, pepper, and nutmeg. Simmer, covered until onion is tender, about 20 minutes, stirring often.
    Line 9 inch pie plate with pastry; fill with meat mixture. Adjust top crust, seal and flute edges.
    Cut slits in top.
