Chicken Creole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium size onion, chopped
1 small green pepper, chopped
3 Tbsp. butter
3 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. paprika
1 whole chicken (parts) or 5 to 6 breasts, cooked
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1/2 c. water
2 tsp. lemon juice
2 tsp. horseradish
1 (4 oz.) can pimentos, drained (optional)
1 (8 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
Preparation

Saute onion and green pepper in butter until limp.
Stir in flour, salt and paprika.
Tear cooked chicken (which has been cooked, boiled or steamed) in small pieces.
Add with soup and tomato sauce to onion and flour mixture.
Rinse each can of tomato sauce with 1/4 cup of water.
Add to chicken and sauce.
Stir all and bring to a boil.
Then add lemon juice, mushrooms, horseradish and pimentos.
Serve over rice or noodles.
