Swift Swiss Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. onion salt
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. pepper
6 cubed beef steaks (1 1/2 lb.)
4 tsp. oil
14 oz. can stewed tomatoes
8 oz. can tomato sauce
1/2 tsp. dry savory
1 medium green pepper, cut into strips
1 medium sweet pepper
Preparation

Dip steaks in flour and brown in oil; drain.
Add undrained tomatoes, sauce and savory.
Cover, simmer 25 minutes, stirring occasionally; add green pepper.
Simmer 5 to 7 minutes more; serve with potatoes or noodles.
