Pepperoni-Pizza Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef or turkey
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    8 oz. sliced mushrooms
    1 (14 oz.) jar pizza sauce
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    8 oz. macaroni, cooked and drained
    6 oz. pizza cheese, divided
    1 (3 1/2 oz.) pkg. sliced pepperoni
Preparation
    Combine first 4 ingredients in skillet over medium heat. Cook, stirring, until meat crumbles and is browned.
    Drain well. Stir in sauce, salt, macaroni and 1 cup cheese.
    Spoon into a greased 11 x 7 x 1 1/2-inch baking dish. Arrange the pepperoni over the top. Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Uncover; sprinkle on the remaining 1/2 cup of cheese and bake an additional 5 to 10 minutes until cheese is melted and browned.
