Cherry Berry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen raspberries, thawed
    1 (16 oz.) can pitted cherries (undrained)
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. cornstarch
    1/4 c. oleo
    1/4 tsp. almond extract
    1/4 tsp. red food coloring (optional)
    1 (15 oz.) pkg. refrigerated pie crusts
Preparation
    Drain cherries and berries, reserving 1 cup of their juices. Set fruit aside.
    Combine sugar, juices and cornstarch in pan. Cook until it boils for 1 minute; stir constantly.
    Remove from heat.
    Add butter, almond extract and food coloring.
    Fold in fruit; cool slightly.
    Place one crust on bottom of 9-inch pie plate.
    Add fruit, then other crust.
    Cut slits in top of crust. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Cool on rack.
