Microwave Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. chicken stock or broth
    1 c. plain flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    2/3 c. milk
Preparation
    Put broth
    in
    1 1/2 quart casserole.
    Microwave 6 to 8 minutes
    on
    High until boiling.
    Measure flour, baking powder and salt
    into mixture bowl.
    Cut in shortening until mixture looks like corn meal.
    Add milk until mixture is moistened but not smooth.
    Drop
    into broth by teaspoonfuls.\tDo not cover. Cook 6 minutes on High.
    Cover.
    Cook 5 minutes on High until dumplings are
    firm.\tThis makes a gravy.
    For thinner gravy, add more broth.
