Sour Cream Apple Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. flour (unbleached, all-purpose or self-rising)*
2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 c. margarine or butter, softened
1 c. nuts, chopped
1 to 2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
2 c. apples, peeled and finely chopped (2 medium)

Preparation

*If using self-rising flour, omit soda and salt.
