Fruit And Nut Tossed Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. torn spinach
1 head torn romaine lettuce
1 c. seedless grapes, halved
1/2 c. toasted, slivered almonds
11 oz. can mandarin oranges, chilled and drained
1/2 c. oil
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 small avocado, peeled, seeded and sliced
Preparation

In large bowl, combine spinach, lettuce, grapes, almonds and oranges.
In a screw top jar, combine remaining ingredients except avocado; shake well.
Just before serving, toss some of the dressing with the salad and garnish with avocado.
Serve remaining dressing on side.
Makes 8 servings.
