The Best Chocolate Frosting In The World - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1 c. heavy cream
    5 sq. unsweetened chocolate
    1/2 c. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine sugar and cream in a heavy saucepan.
    Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
    Boil gently for 6 minutes without stirring. Remove from heat.
    Add chocolate; stir to blend.
    Stir in butter and vanilla.
    Chill until mixture begins to thicken.
    Beat until thick and creamy.
    Chill again, if necessary.
    Makes enough to frost an 8 or 9-inch two-layer cake.
