Bacon Canapes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1 c. Cheddar or Swiss cheese, grated
    1 lb. crisply cooked bacon, crumbled
    1 roll thin party pumpernickel or rye
Preparation
    Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Mix mayo, cheese and bacon together; spread on bread.
    Put in oven for 4 minutes, until bubbly and hot. Spread may be made ahead and kept on bottom shelf of refrigerator.
    Bacon must be very crisp.
