Margaret Washkowiak'S Polish Pecan Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. granulated sugar
    4 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    2 c. chopped pecans
    pecan halves
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    Mix ingredients in order given.
    Mix well.
    Form into walnut sized balls.
    Roll in granulated sugar, place on greased cookie sheet and flatten with a glass dipped in granulated sugar.
    Place pecan half on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until light brown. When warm, not hot, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
