Ingredients

1 large egg
1 c. half and half
3/4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. sugar
3 c. heavy cream
Preparation

Put egg, half and half, sugar and vanilla in blender.
Blend on medium speed until mixture is smooth and sugar is dissolved. Slowly add the cream and continue blending on low speed until mixture is smooth, about 30 seconds.
Transfer the mixture to your machine and freeze according to manufacture's instructions.
Makes slightly more than 1 quart.
