Ingredients

4 c. beet juice
2 Tbsp. lemon juice (ReaLemon)
1 pkg. pectin
6 c. sugar
2/3 c. grape jello
Preparation

Boil beets; cut up so they bleed (throw away beets and keep juice, 4 cups).
Boil beet juice and ReaLemon juice.
Add 1 package pectin; boil 1 minute.
Add sugar and grape jello.
Return to hard boil for 3 1/2 minutes.
Put in jars and seal with wax.
