Pickled Peaches - cooking recipe
Ingredients
- 
                            1 1 lb. and 13 oz can of peach halves
 
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. cider vinegar
1 Tbsp. whole cloves, tied in a bag
1 Tbsp. whole allspice, tied in a bag
2 cinnamon sticks
Preparation
- 
                            Drain juice from peach halves into kettle.
 
Add sugar, vinegar and spices.
Boil for 10 minutes.
Add peaches and cook for 5 minutes, or until peaches are heated through.
Remove spice bags. Pack peaches in hot, sterilized jars.
Fill jars with boiling syrup.
Seal.
Makes three 8 oz. jars.
