Plantation Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 eggs
1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. plain flour
2 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. boiling water
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch Pyrex pan.
Mix eggs, oil, buttermilk and vanilla.
Sift dry ingredients together.
Add egg mixture and beat.
Add boiling water and mix well (batter will be very thin).
Bake in a Pyrex pan for 30 minutes.
Immediately cover with topping; broil until bubbly. Watch carefully; topping burns easily.
