Fruit Cake Fingers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 small cans coconut
    1 can Eagle Brand milk
    1 tsp. almond flavoring
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. cherries, cut up
    3 c. pecans, chopped
    1 c. fresh pineapple, cut up
    2 pkg. dates, cut up
Preparation
    Mix flavoring and salt with milk.
    Pour over remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly.
    Bake in 2 (9 x 13-inch) pans, greased well and lined with several layers of brown paper.
    Bake 30 minutes at 250\u00b0, then at 275\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Cool before cutting into fingers or bars.
