Salmon Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can salmon, bones picked out
    1/2 c. mashed potatoes
    1/2 chopped medium onion
    8 sq. soda crackers, crumbled small
    1 egg
Preparation
    Mix well.
    Make into patties like hamburgers.
    Chill for an hour or so before cooking.
    Makes 5 to 6 patties.
    Fry in skillet with about 1/4 inch of oil (Crisco) in skillet until brown (about 5 minutes), then turn.
    Brown on other side.
    Lower heat.
    Continue cooking, turning occasionally until done (about 15 to 20 minutes).
