Cranberry-Orange Nut Bread - cooking recipe

4 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 c. orange juice
2 Tbsp. grated orange rind
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1 tsp. soda
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. cranberries
2 1/2 c. nuts, broken
2 c. sugar
Preparation

Blend flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs and beat well.
Add dry ingredients alternately with orange juice and peel, ending with dry ingredients.
Fold in cranberries and nuts.
Divide batter evenly between 2 greased and floured loaf pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
This freezes well.
