Sausage Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. pork sausage
1 large onion, finely chopped
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can Carnation or Pet evaporated milk
1/2 c. water from cooked noodles
1 (12 oz.) pkg. noodles (egg or bow tie)
Pepperidge Farm herb stuffing
Preparation

Brown sausage, keeping it finely crumbled.
Add onion and saute until onions are tender; remove from heat.
Cook noodles according to package directions; drain, reserving 1/2 cup water. Mix soups, reserved water and milk, beating well, and heat until warm.
Combine noodles, liquids and sausage and onion mixture; pour into a buttered casserole dish.
Top with stuffing and bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until it bubbles.
This recipe freezes well.
