Odell'S Flour Tortillas - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 lb. lard or shortening
1/2 c. warm water
Preparation

Mix first three ingredients together well.
Add lard or shortening and mix well.
Add about 1/2 cup warm water, little by little (or more, just to mix).
Make the dough so it can be rolled--not too soft.
Roll in hands into small balls.
Place in bowl to set for a while.
Cover with cloth or Saran Wrap.
After setting, roll into tortillas and cook on both sides.
