Shoo-Fly Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    1 lb. brown sugar
    1 c. oleo or butter
    2 c. boiling water
    1 c. B. molasses
    2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Combine flour, brown sugar and oleo.
    Work into fine crumbs. Remove 1 cup crumbs for topping.
    Mix boiling water, molasses and baking soda.
    Add remaining crumbs; mix well.
    Batter will be very thin.
    Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Sprinkle remaining cup of crumbs over top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Makes 16 to 20 servings.
    I like it when hot, topped with ice cream or Cool Whip.
