Strawberry-Raisin Bake(Scones) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. milk
    2 eggs, beaten
    3/4 c. raisins
    1/2 c. thick strawberry jam
Preparation
    Heat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Grease a round 9-inch cake pan.
    Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
    Using a fork, cut in butter until coarse crumbs are formed.
    Add the milk, eggs and raisins. Stir until dry ingredients are moistened.
    With floured hands, pat 1/2 of the dough into the greased cake pan.
    Press dough 1/4-inch on the sides of pan.
    Spread strawberry jam on top dough.
    Use remainder of dough, spreading evenly.
    Using a sharp knife, score dough into 8 wedges.
    Brush top lightly with melted butter and sprinkle with sugar.
    Bake 20 to 25 minutes.
