Swiss Corn Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. fresh cut corn *
    1 c. boiling salted water *
    1 (6 oz.) can evaporated milk
    1 beaten egg
    2 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    3/4 c. shredded process Swiss cheese
    1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
    1 Tbsp. melted butter
    1/4 c. Swiss cheese
Preparation
    *Or cook 2 (9 ounce) packages of corn according to directions.
