Scampi - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. margarine
    3 lb. shrimp, shelled and deveined
    1/2 c. olive oil
    4 cloves garlic, crushed
    2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    In large frypan, saute onion in 1/2 cup margarine until tender. Transfer to large bowl.
    Add shrimp, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice and salt and pepper.
    Mix well.
    Place shrimp in a large, shallow baking pan, making sure you add any remaining liquid.
    Broil 5 minutes, 6-inches from heat.
    Turn and broil another 5 minutes. Serves 6 to 8.
