Hungarian Cabbage And Noodles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. vegetable oil (to cover bottom of Dutch oven)
1/2 c. chopped onion
4 c. chopped cabbage or 1 small head
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. caraway seed (optional)
1 (8 oz.) pkg. egg noodles
1/2 c. dairy sour cream (optional)
Preparation

Saute onion and cabbage until soft and cabbage is cooked slowly.
Stir in caraway seed, salt and pepper.
Cook wide, curly noodles as directed on package.
Drain well.
Stir noodles into cabbage.
Add sour cream, if desired.
Cook 5 minutes longer, stirring frequently.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
