Canned Pickle Beets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    beets
    3 c. vinegar
    2 c. water
    5 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. spices
Preparation
    Wash beets; cut leaves off.
    Cook beets until tender.
    Peel off skin.
    Make a syrup with remaining ingredients.
    Bring to a boil with beets and can by packing into sterilized jars.
