Oatmeal White Chippers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 c. margarine or butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    1 egg
    2 1/2 c. rolled oats
    1 1/2 c. coarsely chopped white chocolate
    1/2 c. finely chopped almonds
Preparation
    In a small mixing bowl, stir together flour and soda.
    Set aside.
    In a large mixer bowl, beat margarine with an electric mixer on medium speed for 30 seconds.
    Add sugars; beat until fluffy.
    Add egg; beat well.
    Add flour mixture; beat until well mixed.
    Stir in oats, white chocolate and almonds.
    Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 3 inches apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet; flatten slightly.
    Bake in a 375\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes or until done.
    Cool on cookie sheet for 1 minute; remove and cool on a wire rack.
    Makes 38 cookies.
