Jello Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. white cake mix
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. Jell-O
    1 large carton Cool Whip
Preparation
    Bake cake mix according to package directions in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Cool.
    Using a fork, make holes to bottom of pan all over cake.
    Using Jell-O, add 3 cups boiling water.
    Dissolve.
    Let Jell-O mixture chill in refrigerator, but do not set.
    Pour liquid over cake, in holes and at corners.
    Chill for 2 hours.
    Spread Cool Whip on top.
    Keep chilled.
