Chicken Cacciatore(Microwave) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 to 3 lb. frying chicken, cut up
    2 c. tomato sauce
    2 Tbsp. instant onion or 1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder or instant minced garlic or 2 cloves garlic
    3/4 c. tomato paste
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 tsp. leaf oregano
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. powdered thyme
    2 c. water
Preparation
    Cut large pieces of chicken in half for uniform size.
    Set aside.
    Combine remaining ingredients in 4-quart casserole; stir in chicken pieces, coating with sauce.
    Cook covered 40 minutes or until chicken is done.
    Serve plain or over spaghetti.
    If desired, use 1/4 cup red wine for part of the water.
