Carrots Au Gratin - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. diced carrots
    6 crackers, crushed
    1 tsp. onion salt
    1/8 to 1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
    1/2 c. grated sharp or American cheese
Preparation
    Cook carrots in 1/2-inch boiling, salted water for 10 minutes. Combine crackers, salt, onion and pepper.
    Alternate layers of carrots and crumb mixture.
    If any carrot liquid is left, spoon over top.
    Pour butter over carrots and sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 425\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes or until cheese melts.
