Icebox Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. soda
3 c. quick oats
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Cream shortening and sugars.
Add eggs, soda, salt, oatmeal, flour, nuts and vanilla to creamed mixture and mix well.
Make 2 or 3 rolls in waxed paper.
Let set in refrigerator overnight. Slice and bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes.
