Irish Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick margarine
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. caraway seed
2 c. whole milk
1 c. raisins
Preparation

Combine margarine and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
Add to mixture. Add raisins, caraway seed and milk.
Mix until smooth. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 minutes.
Sprinkle sugar on top of batter before baking.
Makes 2 loaves.
