Date Loaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar
2 c. milk
2 tsp. white Karo syrup
scoop of butter the size of an egg
1 (8 oz.) box pitted dates
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. nuts
Preparation

Mix sugar, milk and Karo syrup.
Cook until golden brown.
Add dates and butter stir until dates are dissolved.
Stir in nuts and vanilla.
Beat until stiff and pour on wet cloth.
