Garden Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can cut green beans
    1 can kidney beans
    1 can garbanzo beans
    3 celery stalks, chopped
    1 bunch green onions, sliced
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 cans lima beans
    1 can wax beans
    1 green pepper
    1 jar sliced pimento
    2 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Drain all cans of beans; place in large bowl.
    Add green pepper, celery, pimentos and green onions; set aside.
    Bring remaining ingredients to a boil in a heavy saucepan; boil for 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat and immediately pour over vegetables. Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
