Vegetarian Chow Mein - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. canola oil
    1/4 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. onion powder
    3 c. fresh celery (thin diagonal slices)
    2 c. fresh onions (thin sliced rings)
    2 c. mung bean sprouts
    1 c. mushrooms, sliced
    1 c. tofu, cubed
    1/4 c. green peas or parsley
    1 1/4 c. water or liquid drained from vegetables
    1/4 tsp. salt or kelp
    1 1/4 Tbsp. arrowroot starch
Preparation
    In a large skillet, heat first 4 ingredients.
    Add celery, onions, bean sprouts, mushrooms, tofu and peas or parsley.
    Cook, covered, just until crisp-tender, about 15 minutes.
    Combine remaining ingredients.
    Pour over cooked mixture and stir until thick.
