Cabbage Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium cabbage, cut up
    1 large purple onion, cut up
    1 large bell pepper, cut up
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. oil
    3/4 c. vinegar
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Let nonvegetable ingredients come to a boil for 2 minutes. Pour over the chopped cabbage while it is hot.
    Let set overnight in the refrigerator.
    Cover and stir 2 or 3 times during its refrigeration.
