Italian Squirrel - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 or 2 squirrels, cleaned and cut up
    1 pkg. wide noodles
    1 can sliced mushrooms
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 soup can water
    1/3 c. bacon drippings
    1/2 c. chopped yellow onion
    1/2 tsp. each: dried oregano and basil
    1/4 tsp. garlic salt or 1 clove garlic
    salt and pepper to taste
    salt
    3 juniper berries (optional)
Preparation
    Inspect squirrel, making sure all buckshot has been removed. Put cut up squirrel, berries and 1/2 cup salt in a non-aluminum bowl and cover with water.
    Refrigerate overnight.
