Swedish Almond Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or oleo
    1 c. flour
    3 eggs
    6 almonds, blanched and sliced
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. almond extract
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, flour, baking powder and almond extract.
    Mix very well until batter is smooth.
    Pour in round cake pan; sprinkle almonds on top and bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
