Apple Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. lard
3/4 c. milk
5 to 6 apples, chopped
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. water
1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
Work in 3 tablespoons of lard.
Add milk and mix well.
Roll the dough to 1/4-inch thick; spread with melted oleo, brown sugar and apples. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
Roll and cut into slices 1 1/2-inches thick.
Place in greased 9 x 12-inch pan.
