Easy Chicken A La King - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sliced mushrooms
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas and pearl onions, partially thawed
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    3/4 c. milk
    1 1/2 c. diced, cooked chicken
    2 Tbsp. chopped pimento
    2/3 c. shredded Swiss cheese
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    In skillet over medium heat, saute mushrooms in butter for 3 minutes or until limp.
    Stir in peas, breaking apart.
    Cover and steam for 4 minutes or until peas are tender.
    Stir in chicken, pimento and pepper. Keep stirring and bring to a boil.
    Remove from heat and stir in cheese until melted and blended.
    Serve over patty shells, biscuits or noodles.
