Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 deep dish pie crust
2 large sweet potatoes, cooked and peeled (1 to 1 1/2 lb.)
1/4 c. butter, softened
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. evaporated milk (canned)
Preparation

Preheat oven and baking sheet to 375\u00b0.
Remove pie crust from freezer.
Meanwhile, in medium bowl, beat sweet potatoes until smooth.
Mix in butter and sugar.
Beat in eggs, one at a time. Mix in nutmeg, salt and evaporated milk.
Place pie crust on preheated baking sheet.
Pour filling into pie crust.
Bake in center of oven for 60 to 65 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool completely before serving.
Makes 8 servings.
