Apricot Cheese Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. orange Jell-O
    1 small can crushed pineapple, undrained
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    2 small jars apricot baby food
    1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip
    1/2 to 1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Mix dry Jell-O and pineapple in a saucepan.
    Bring to a simmer; set aside to cool.
