Jennings' 100Th Year Ole Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. candied fruit mix
1/4 c. any kind jelly or preserves
1 c. chopped pecans
2/3 c. melted butter
1 1/3 c. brown sugar
1 large box raisins, stewed
2 eggs, beaten
approximately 2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cake spice
pecan halves
red cherries
green cherries
Preparation

Soak fruit with jelly overnight.
Add 2 beaten eggs, pecans, sugar, raisins and butter to fruit and jelly mixture.
Separately sift together dry ingredients, mixing well.
Then add to fruit mixtures.
If necessary, add more flour to desired consistency.
