Beignets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 c. milk
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    Pinch of soda
    Powdered sugar
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients into bowl. Add milk and egg and mix well. Drop into deep heated fat by the spoonful. Grease should be at least 375\u00b0. Fry until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Roll in powdered sugar.
